CCR2022.079-Purch of new furniture (Library)

RESOLUTION #079-2022
APPROVAL TO PURCHASE NEW LIBRARY FURNITURE
WHEREAS, The Library is requesting to purchase a new circulation desk and
processing tables; and
WHEREAS, The 2022 Capital Budget is $60,500 which was approved in 2021 and the
cost to purchase the new furniture is $59,126.96; and
WHEREAS, The Library has chosen the vendor Library Furniture International in order
to maintain consistency of product and design with the reference desk project that was
completed in 2021; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the Library’s request to purchase a
new circulation desk and processing tables and recommends approval of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of a new circulation desk and processing tables for the Muskego Public
Library.
