RESOLUTION #050-2022
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AGREEMENT TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF THE
ELECTRICAL SERVICE LOCATED WITHIN VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PARK
WHEREAS, The Muskego Community Festival, Inc. (Festival) is the owner of the
electrical service located within Veteran’s Memorial Park despite the fact that the park is
owned by the City of Muskego (City); and
WHEREAS, The City and the Festival wish to enter into an Agreement transferring
ownership and maintenance of the electrical service from the Festival to the City for
nominal or no consideration; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to the Agreement, the Festival would only pay for electrical
service they use for the days of the Festival or other events held by them; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the attached Agreement and
recommends approval of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the Agreement between the City of Muskego and the Muskego Community Festival, Inc.
for the transfer of ownership of the electrical service located within Veteran’s Memorial
Park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and is hereby authorized to sign the
Agreement and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to it as
may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
