RESOLUTION #032-2021
A RESOLUTION TO TERMINATE TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICTS
NUMBERS 8 AND 9
WHEREAS, The City created Tax Incremental District No. 8 in August of 2000 and
adopted a project plan that year; and
WHEREAS, The City created Tax Incremental District No. 9 in September of 2003 and
adopted a project plan that year; and
WHEREAS, The City’s goal was to promote growth and development through
implementation of the plan; and
WHEREAS, The City’s Director of Finance and Administration has prepared the
necessary Wisconsin Department of Revenue forms (PE-613) to initiate the
termination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That TID No. 8 and TID No. 9 are hereby
terminated, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Clerk-Treasurer shall notify the Department
of Revenue that TID No. 8 and TID No. 9 have been terminated by the April 15, 2021
deadline.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized so
sign the Wisconsin Department of Revenue forms to terminate Tax Incremental
Districts Numbers 8 and 9.
