CCR2020027-911 Grant COMMON COUNCIL – CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #027-2020 Resolution to Adopt a Grant from the State of Wisconsin, Office of Emergency Communications, Department of Military Affairs, for the Next-Gen 911 Reimbursement Grant Program WHEREAS, the City of Muskego Police Department is in need of equipment to make its current 911 call recording system Next-Gen ready; and WHEREAS, the City of Muskego Police Department applied for a grant through the State of Wisconsin, Office of Emergency Communications, Department of Military Affairs, for assistance in the purchasing of said equipment; and WHEREAS, a grant in the amount of $21,000.00 pursuant to the Next-Gen 911 Reimbursement Grant Program was awarded to the City on or about April 1, 2020. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above referenced Grant is hereby accepted by the Common Council of the City of Muskego. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name of the City in order to accept the Grant and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to said documents as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign such substantive changes made by the City Attorney. DATED THIS 14th DAY OF APRIL 2020.
