CCR2019026-Road Program COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #026-2019 AWARD OF BID 2019 Road Improvement Project WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the 2019 Road Improvement Project and the following bids were received: Item Payne & Wolf Paving Stark Pavement Dolan, Inc. Corp. Bid No. 1 – Roads to be $587,680.00 $699,980.77 $679,232.00 Resurfaced DPW Building North Parking Lot, $349,680.00 $363,614.64 $316,452.50 DPW Building Front Entrance – Asphalt and Concrete Pavement, Water Utility Building – Asphalt and Concrete Pavement Total Base Bid $937,360.00 $1,063,595.41 $995,684.50 Mandatory Alternates $201,700.00 $226,804.43 $330,958.75 (Per Bid Tabulation) WHEREAS, The Public Works and Development Director reviewed the bids and recommends that the base bid be accepted as submitted by Payne & Dolan, Inc. in the amount of $937,360.00; and WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and concurs with the recommendation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid submitted by Payne & Dolan, Inc. in the amount of $937,360.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized to sign the contract in the name of the City and the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to the contract as may be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
