COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #059-2018
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
MATTHEW GLAZIER
WHEREAS, MATTHEW GLAZIER is an avid collector of antiques with a keen eye for
Wisconsin brewery bottles, military memorabilia, and local area history; and
WHEREAS, Matthew completed his Eagle Scout Service Project in February of 2017
and earned the rank of Eagle Scout, with Troop 18 here in Muskego, in May of 2018;
and
WHEREAS, For his service project, Matthew led a group of scouts and adults in
building a fish crib for Little Muskego Lake. The crib was built in his garage and
assembled on the frozen lake; eventually broke through the ice and settled to the lake
bottom. Matthew, also a certified scuba diver, has been down to survey the crib and can
attest to the benefit it is having on the fish population on the lake;
WHEREAS, Matthew is finishing his Sophomore year at Muskego High School and is
involved in the marching and jazz bands. He hasn't settled on plans for after high school
other than attending college and working on his collections; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend MATTHEW GLAZIER for achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to attain scouting’s highest
honor.
