AWARD OF BID
Racine Avenue Recreational Trail
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Racine Avenue Recreational Trail and the
following bids were received:

Blaze Landscaping Contracting, Inc. $262,950.00
Musson Bros., Inc. $282,611.50

Super Western Inc. $349,271.50
Poblocki Paving Corp. $349,777.00
Willkomm Excavating & Grading, Inc. $364,515.24
WHEREAS, The City Engineer reviewed the bids and recommends that the base bid in the
amount of $240,607.32 submitted by Pro-Seal Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Co., Inc. be
accepted; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and concurs with the
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid submitted by
Pro-Seal Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Co., Inc. in the amount of $240,607.32 for the Racine
Avenue Recreational Trail.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized to sign a
Contract for the project in the name of the City and the City Attorney is authorized to make
substantive changes to the Contract as may be necessary in order to preserve the general
intent thereof.
