RESOLUTION #060-2017
APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH L.L. BEAN
TO USE PROPERTY AT THE BOXHORN BOAT LAUNCH
WHEREAS, L.L. Bean has requested the right to use the City of Muskego property at
the Boxhorn Boat Launch at Big Muskego Lake for the purpose of its Outdoor
Discovery School; and
WHEREAS, For use of the property, L.L. Bean agrees to pay the City $1,000 for the
ability to store a 25 foot trailer in the parking lot of the Boxhorn Launch to store
equipment for their courses; and
WHEREAS, The attached Agreement, which outlines the terms and conditions of said
use by L.L. Bean, has been reviewed by the Finance Committee and has been
recommended for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the Agreement between the City of Muskego and L.L. Bean subject to compliance with
all terms and conditions stated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to sign the Agreement and
the City Attorney is authorized to make substantive changes to the Agreement as may
be necessary in order to preserve the general intent thereof.
