COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #059-2017
APPROVE THE DEMOLITION
OF THE JENSEN PARK BUILDING
WHEREAS, The Jensen Park Building can no longer be used as a result of the
discovery of mold; and
WHEREAS, The building is rarely used, if at all, such that there is no benefit to the City
in maintaining it or keeping it open any longer; and
WHEREAS, The Public Works and Development Director has recommended that the
building be demolished by the Public Works Department for the reasons stated above;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the information and concurs with the
staff recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the demolition of the Jensen Park Building by the Public Works Department.
