RESOLUTION #058-2017
REJECTION OF BIDS
Racine Avenue and Martin Drive Recreational Trail Project
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Racine Avenue and Martin Drive
Recreational Trail Project and the following bids were received:
Base Bid
Poblocki Paving Corp. $588,077.00
Musson Brothers, Inc. $337,572.36
All-Ways Contractors, Inc. $347,834.50
Blaze Landscape Contracting, Inc. $375,179.00
WHEREAS, The budgeted amount for the project is $280,000.00; and
WHEREAS, With the bids being significantly higher than the budgeted amount, the
Public Works and Development Director has recommended that all bids be rejected;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the bids and concurs with the staff
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby reject all
bids submitted for the Racine Avenue and Martin Drive Recreational Trail project.
