COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #027-2017
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
MITCHELL E. BROWN
WHEREAS, MITCHELL E. BROWN was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on
February 16, 2017 as a member of Boy Scout Troop 599; and
WHEREAS, MITCHELL is a junior at Muskego High School. He enjoys outdoor
activities, such as camping, hiking, fishing and hunting; and
WHEREAS, MITCHELL has been active in scouting since 2007. During that time,
he earned the highest rank in Cub Scouts, the Arrow of Light. He also earned a
total of 36 Merit Badges. His scouting experiences taught him leadership skills,
which contributed to the success of his service project; and
WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, MITCHELL planned and built equipment
for the Wisconsin Humane Society. The equipment is used to rehabilitate injured
dogs or dogs recovering from surgery. He also constructed a waste and water
station as part of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend MITCHELL E. BROWN for achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to attain
scouting’s highest honor.
