COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #075-2014
APPROVAL OF 2014 WATER UTILITY RATE INCREASE
WHEREAS, The City was aware of the significant reduction within the Water Utility Operations
and Maintenance Fund and that a simplified rate case application would be filed with the Public
Service Commission to address the issues related to the Utility’s financial situation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the attached order
from the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby establish the following rates for water

service effective as of the 4 quarter 2014, which will be reflected on the first billing of 2015:

General Metered Public Fire Protection
(Hydrant Rental)

3/4-inch meter $ 25.46 $ 8.59

First 30,000 gallons used each quarter - $3.29 per 1,000 gallons
Next 90,000 gallons used each quarter - $2.87 per 1,000 gallons
Over 120,000 gallons used each quarter - $2.45 per 1,000 gallons
