RESOLUTION #017-2014
APPROVAL OF AMENDED FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT WITH
TESS CORNERS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
FOR 2014
WHEREAS, The Common Council approved an agreement for fire protection between
the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department and the City of Muskego in November of
2013; and
WHEREAS, The City Attorney has recommended that the existing fire protection
agreement be amended to address the intentions of the parties with regard to capital
expenditures; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the attached agreement, as
amended, and has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the amended agreement for fire protection between the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire
Department and the City of Muskego for the remainder of 2014.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to execute the agreement in the name of the City.
