AWARD OF BID
Park Arthur Lighting Project
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Park Arthur Lighting Project and the
following bids were received:
CONTRACTOR BASE BID
Outdoor Lighting $419,306
Pro Electric 579,000
Pieper Power 318,400
Wil-Surge Electric 333,210
Pace Electric 377,400
WHEREAS, The Parks & Recreation Board and Finance Committee recommend
acceptance of the low base bid submitted by Pieper Power in the amount of $318,400
as well as Alternative Item MA-1 (Lighting of the Sledding Hill) in the amount of
$30,112, and Deductive Alternatives CA-2 and CA-3 in the amount of ($11,475) for the
Park Arthur Lighting Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby award the
bid for the Park Arthur Lighting Project to Pieper Power in the amount of $337,037.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor or her designee are authorized to sign
any change orders.
