COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #027-2013
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
JACOB I. GOEBL
WHEREAS, JACOB I. GOEBL is a member of Boy Scout Troop 141, and a recent
graduate of Muskego High School; and
WHEREAS, JACOB achieved the rank of Eagle Scout after years of service and
dedication to the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his years involved in scouting, JACOB earned 28 merit
badges and has been an active member of his troop holding various leadership
roles; and
WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, JACOB led fellow scouts in constructing
16 bat houses that were placed throughout various woodlands and parks. The
houses will provide habitats for the common bat in our region, the little brown
bat. It has been identified that they lost their natural dwellings as a result of land
development and recent weather disasters; and
WHEREAS, JACOB is currently a freshman at UW-Waukesha with an interest in
Chemical Engineering as a final major. In addition to his scouting activities, he
has a strong musical background.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend JACOB I. GOEBL for achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to attain scouting’s
highest honor.
