RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TID 10 DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT:
NORTHERN GEAR
WHEREAS, Northern Gear (the “Developer”) has an approved offer to purchase of the real
estate in the City (described on Exhibit A of the Developer’s Agreement attached hereto and
also known as Tax Key No. 2169.993.010; the “Property”); and
WHEREAS, the Developer intends to develop the Property by constructing on the Property a
96,235 SF office/light manufacturing building (the “Development Project”); and
WHEREAS, the Property is located within the boundaries of the City’s proposed Tax
Incremental District No. 10 (“TID No. 10”) which has been created by the City for the purpose of
promoting new business development in the City; and
WHEREAS, the development of the Property and the construction of the Development Project
will further the purposes of TID No. 10 and is in the best interests of the City; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain for the City, TID 10, and its residents the benefits to be derived
from the construction of the Development Project, the City proposes to enter into a
Development Agreement outlining incentives with the Developer in substantially the form
attached hereto (the “Development Agreement”);
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, Waukesha
County, Wisconsin, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the Development
Agreement, for and on behalf of the City, with such insertions therein or changes and
corrections thereto as shall be approved by the Mayor and City Clerk.
