RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO VACATE RIGHT-OF-WAY
DEDICATED FOR CREST DRIVE LOCATED IN THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 4
WHEREAS, A request to vacate a street right-of-way was initiated by the Public
Works Committee for property located in the NE ¼ of Section 4, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way is located between Emerald Drive and Pearl Drive
and consists of 16 parcels being affected, and
WHEREAS, Said dedication is not necessary to serve future development on
adjoining properties, and
WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee reviewed the vacation and
recommended approval at their November 2005 meeting, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way will be removed from the 2010 Street System Plan.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the
Common Council the vacation of street right-of-way for Crest Drive as depicted in
the attached exhibits.
