APPROVAL OF A BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR A HOBBY KENNEL FOR THE
LEONARD PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 24
(S87 W13205 PRIEGEL DRIVE / TAX KEY NOS. 2254.999.002 & 2254.999)
WHEREAS, On August 22, 2005 a Building Site and Operation Plan was submitted by Lisa and
Leonard Heck on behalf of Richard and Barbara Leonard for the allowance of a Hobby Kennel at
their farm located in the NW ¼ of Section 24, and
WHEREAS, Said property is currently zoned R-2, Country Home District, and the proposed
Hobby Kennel is a permitted accessory use with the approval of a Building, Site, and Operation
Plan by the Plan Commission, and
WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing to house seven (7) dogs on their property, and
WHEREAS, The Hobby Kennel will only be used for personal dog storage, not as a commercial
kennel, and
WHEREAS, The petitioner owns approximately 85 acres and is allowed the requested number of
dogs, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a Building Site and
Operation Plan submitted by Lisa and Leonard Heck on behalf of Richard and Barbara Leonard
for the allowance of a Hobby Kennel at their farm located in the NW ¼ of Section 24.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if the petitioner wished to acquire any more dogs, the Plan
Commission must first approve the increase in dogs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all of the dogs must be licensed with the City of Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspects of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise
authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or
both.
