PCR2005077RESOLUTION #P.C. 077-2005 APPROVAL OF A TEMPORARY TENT AND TEMOPORARY SIGNAGE FOR THE SALE OF TIRES FOR RICHLONN’S TIRES AT S78 W18755 JANESVILLE ROAD (TAX KEY NO. 2195.981) WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Richard Kinard to locate a temporary sales tent and signs advertising the sale of tires and the grand opening at Richlonn’s Tires located at S78 W18755 Janesville Road, and WHEREAS, The tent canopy will be 10’ x 20’ in size and will contain two (2) 20’ x 3’ banners on the tent, and WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing to have streamers coming off of the tent, and WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing to have 50 tires randomly stacked as part of this sale, and WHEREAS, The tent will be approximately 50 feet off the Janesville Road Right-of-Way, and WHEREAS, The tent will be approximately 30 feet away from the opposing row of parked vehicles, and WHEREAS, The proposal also includes a 12’ x 3’ x 15’ inflatable Goodyear tire and an inflatable tube approximately 12 feet high, and WHEREAS, The General Design Guide states that Plan Commission approvals are needed to ensure the proper facilities exist and that proper safety measures are taken. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the request for a temporary tent and signage at Richlonn’s Tires for tire sales for Richard Kinard subject to the following conditions: 1. Dates of operation approved from July 6th, 2005, to July 23rd, 2005, and 2. Hours of operation permitted only from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays, and 3. The fee schedule was signed by the property owner stating that they approve of the temporary sales and tent, and 4. Applicable permits / licensing must be obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior to any site work on the property. 5. Any outdoor displays shall be kept neat and orderly and shall not negatively affect the surroundings.
