PCR2005053RESOLUTION #P.C. 053-2005 APPROVAL OF A TEMPORARY VENDOR BENEFIT AND OUTDOOR SALT SALES FOR SENTRY FOODS LOCATED IN THE MUSKEGO CENTER SHOPPING COMPLEX (W189 S7847 RACINE AVENUE) WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Mike Slifka to locate a temporary sales tent for a fundraiser at the Sentry Shopping Centre located at W189 S7847 Racine Avenue, and WHEREAS, Temporary sales and fundraisers are periodically operated at this location and temporary sales vendors are limited to one on site at any one time, and WHEREAS, The tent canopy will be a placed in the parking lot and it will be taped off for safety, and WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Mike Slifka to allow temporary outdoor sales of salt at the Sentry Foods Store located at W189 S7847 Racine Avenue, and WHEREAS, The temporary salt pallets will all be located under the existing canopy in front of the eastern facade of the store, and WHEREAS, A site plan has been filed for Staff review and sanitary facility accommodations will be provided by Sentry, and WHEREAS, An electrical permit and inspection will be required by the Building Inspection Department for any electricity hookup, and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves the request for a temporary benefit stand and temporary outdoor salt sales at the Sentry parking lot in the Muskego Center Shopping Complex for Mike Slifka subject to the following conditions: 1. Dates of operation for the fundraiser are approved from July 29th, 2005, to August 1st, 2005, subject to no other existing outdoor operations occurring at the same time, and 2. Dates of operation for the outdoor salt sales are approved from April 20th, 2005 to May 4th, 2005; July 11th, 2005 to July 18th, 2005; and October 10th, 2005 to October 17th, 2005. 3. Hours of operation for the fundraiser are permitted only from 10am to 7pm, and 4. Subject to no other existing outdoor operations occurring at the same time, and 5. Applicable permits / licensing must be obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior to any site work on the property. 6. All pallets are to be cleaned up by the end of last approved date for each sale operation.
