APPROVAL OF AN AMEDMENT TO A BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR MUSKEGO
ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN THE NE ¼ OF SECTION 17
(TAX KEY NO. 2225.983/ JANESVILLE ROAD)
WHEREAS, On February 14, 2005 plans were submitted by Lee Elger for an amendment to a
Building, Site and Operation Plan for Muskego Animal Hospital located in the NE ¼ of Section 17
(Tax Key No. 2225.983 / Janesville Road), and
WHEREAS, Said property is currently zoned RS-2/OOS Suburban Residence District with an
Office and Special Service Overlay District, and said use is a permitted use by right subject to
Building Site and Operation Plan approvals, and
WHEREAS, Petitioner proposes to change the current building to add on more supply and
grooming space and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code, and
WHEREAS, Building materials used on the new addition consist of decorative masonry, aluminum
fascia, and asphalt shingles and all materials proposed will match the existing building, and
WHEREAS, Parking is illustrated as 35 parking stalls and this is over 20 more parking stalls than
what is required for a commercial office building use, and
WHEREAS, An accessory structure is proposed that mimics the building materials used on the
principal structure and said accessory structure is screened from view of the right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, Lighting consists of 2 lights outside the doorways for safety and these lights will mimic
the existing lights on the building, and
WHEREAS, No additional stormwater management will be required.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended Building,
Site and Operation Plan for the Muskego Animal Hospital located in the NE ¼ of Section 17 (Tax
Key No. 2225.983.994 / Janesville Road).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department
and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless
otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution
shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
