PCR2005018RESOLUTION #P.C. 018-2005 APPROVAL OF A SECOND ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE STERN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NW ¼ OF SECTION 12 (TAX KEY NO. 2206.998.002 / S71 W13382 WOODS ROAD) WHEREAS, On January 17, 2005 a site plan and building drawings were submitted by William Stern to construct a second accessory structure for the property located at S71 W13382 Woods Road, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2, Suburban Residence District, and where said accessory structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review due to the existence of another accessory structure per the General Design Guide requirements, and WHEREAS, The proposed accessory structure will be 12’ x 16’ in size, totaling 192 square feet, and WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures on this property is limited to 4,603 square feet, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code, and WHEREAS, The is an existing 704 square-foot outbuilding currently on the parcel that will remain, and WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed of residential materials that will be colored blue and white to match the existing house colors, and WHEREAS, The existing barn on the property will be razed as soon as asbestos concerns are dealt with. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a second accessory structure (192 square feet) submitted by William Stern for the property located at S71 W13382 Woods Road. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That any future land divisions may require the removal of the accessory structures depending on the lot configurations and sizes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation of legal action, or both.
