PCR2005017AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 017-2005 APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE GUHR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 6 (TAX KEY NO. 2183.998.005 / W219 S6878 CROWBAR DRIVE) WHEREAS, On January 17, 2005 a site plan and building drawings were submitted by Rick Guhr to construct a 1,886 square foot accessory structure on the property located at W219 S6878 Crowbar Drive, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RCE, Country Estate District, and where said structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review due to the proposed architectural materials shown, and WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures on this property is limited to 2,401 square feet, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code, and WHEREAS, There currently is a garden shed on the parcel, and WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed with ivory colored steel walls and a beige colored steel roof, and said proposal does not meet the Plan Commission’s standards for administrative approval of residential accessory structures as the wall and roof materials do not match the materials used on the primary residence, and WHEREAS, The accessory structure is shown to have residential features such as a cupola and shutters, and WHEREAS, The property is residentially zoned, but the area is rural in character. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a 1,886 square foot accessory structure submitted by Rick Guhr for the property located at W219 S6878 Crowbar Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation of legal action, or both. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That overhands match the house within two inches.
