PCR2005012RESOLUTION #P.C. 012-2005 RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL TO REZONE THE KASTELLO PROPERTY FROM THE RS-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO RS-3 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 5 (TAX KEY NO. 2180.973/ W193 S6918 HILLENDALE DRIVE) WHEREAS, On December 20, 2004 a petition for rezoning was submitted by Roger Kastello to rezone a property from the RS-2 Suburban Residence District to RS-3 Suburban Residence District, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on January 25, 2005, and WHEREAS, The petition would permit sewered residential development where sewered residential development is currently allowed, and WHEREAS, The property is currently being used residentially and the rezoning would allow the a greater density residential use in the future, and WHEREAS, The property is currently served by public sewer and private water and these services will continue. WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts the property for medium density single- family development and the rezoning is consistent with this goal, and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning from the RS-2 Suburban Residence District to RS-3 Suburban Residence District for the Kastello property (Tax Key Number 2180.973 / W193 S6918 Hillendale Drive).
