PCR2004121RESOLUTION #P.C. 121-2004 RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL TO REZONE THE DUMKE PROPERTY FROM THE B-4 HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT TO R-3 COUNTRY HOME DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE NE ¼ OF SECTION 24 (TAX KEY NO. 2253.997.001/ NORTH CAPE ROAD) WHEREAS, On October 29, 2004 a petition for rezoning was submitted by Edwin Dumke Sr. to rezone the Dumke property from the B-4 Highway Business District to R-3 Country Home District, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on November 23, 2004, and WHEREAS, The petition would permit unsewered residential development where intense business is currently allowed, and WHEREAS, The property is currently being used residentially and the rezoning would allow the expansion of the residential use in the future, and WHEREAS, The property is currently served by private sewer and water and these services will continue. WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts the property for low density single-family development and the rezoning is consistent with this goal, and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning from the B-4 Highway Business District to R-3 Country Home District for the Dumke property (Tax Key Number 2253.997.001 / North Cape Road).
