PCR2004046 RESOLUTION #P.C. 046-2004 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO AMEND SECTION 18.21 AND 18.46 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO IMPLEMENT NEW PARK AND CONSERVATION DEDICATION FEES FOR ALL NEW DEVELOPMENTS WHEREAS, Section 18.21 and 18.46 of the Municipal Code identifies establishing park dedication fees within the City of Muskego, and WHEREAS, A consulting firm, Ruekert and Mielke, has provided studies showing the need for increased fees while establishing a new conservation dedication fee, and WHEREAS, The Park Dedication Fee Study was recommended for approval by the Park and Recreation Board on January 12, 2004, and WHEREAS, The Conservation Dedication Fee Study was recommended for approval by the Conservation Commission on February 9, 2004, and WHEREAS, Planning staff has reviewed said studies and the sections of the Municipal Code and forwarded recommendations as attached hereto, and WHEREAS, Said recommendations depict new language establishing park dedication fees and a new conservation fee, and WHEREAS, A public hearing has been scheduled to consider the matter on March 23, 2004. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the attached zoning ordinance amendment relating to Section 18.21 and 18.46 to the Common Council.
