RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO ACCEPT THE DEDICATION OF
LANDS FROM WAUKESHA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT (TAX KEY NO 2165.998.006)
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Engineering Department has recommended that
lands be acquired in the NE ¼ of Section 2 of the City of Muskego for the purposes
of stormwater management, and
WHEREAS, The subject property, is approximately 2.17 acres in size and located off
of Janesville Road, is to be converted by Waukesha County to a stormwater
retention area and is to be maintained by the City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS, The property is currently used for open space purposes.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the
acceptance of dedication of lands of Tax Key No. 2165.998.006 to the Common
Council for the purposes of stormwater management.
