RESOLUTION #P.C. 168-2003
THE ADOPTION OF THE SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN 2003 AND RECOMMENDATION
OF SAME TO THE COMMON COUNCIL
WHEREAS, The Common Council and Mayor’s Task Force retained the services of
Vandewalle & Associates and The Taurean Group, LLC to assist in the preparation of plans to
balance Muskego’s economic development objectives with the equally important goals of
promoting sound environmental practice and protecting community aesthetics, and
WHEREAS, The Mayor’s Task Force was appointed by the Mayor to oversee the task of
preparing such plans, and
WHEREAS, The Mayor’s Task Force approved the draft of the Economic Development
Strategic Plan on September 10, 2003, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has reviewed the Economic Development Strategic Plan
and concurs with the document, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission hereby approves the Sustainable
Economic Development Strategic Plan 2003 as recommended by the Mayor’s Task Force and
recommends the same to the Common Council.
