PCR2003088RESOLUTION #P.C. 088-2003 APPROVAL OF A CONCEPTUAL REZONING FROM RSE SUBURBAN RESIDENCE TO B-4 HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT AND APPROVAL OF A CONCEPTUAL BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE GRANT FOR A MINI-STORAGE LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 24 (TAX KEY NO. 2225.995.004 / S99 W13259 LOOMIS DRIVE) WHEREAS, On June 20, 2003 plans were submitted by Nancy Meinerz and Tom Klosiewski for a conceptual rezoning and conceptual Building, Site and Operation Plan and Conditional Use Grant for mini-storage use of a property at S99 W13259 Loomis Drive , and WHEREAS, The property is currently zoned RSE Suburban Residence District, and the proposal would require a rezoning to the B-4 Highway Business District and the issuance of a Conditional Use Grant, and WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts the property for agriculture and low density residential development, and the proposal would require a Plan amendment to depict the property for commercial use, and WHEREAS, The property is adjacent to the area affected by the Durham Hill Design Guide, and any amendment to the Zoning Map and 2010 Comprehensive Plan to accommodate this proposal would include an amendment to the Durham Hill Design Guide. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a rezoning and conceptual Building, Site and Operation Plan and Conditional Use Grant for mini-storage use of a property at S99 W13259 Loomis Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval is granted in concept only and final action is only an indication of the current intent of the Plan Commission; Final submittals are subject to future review and consideration by the Plan Commission, municipal committees of jurisdiction, and other agencies, and approval of final plans is not guaranteed by this action of the Plan Commission.
