RESOLUTION #P.C. 076-2003
APPROVAL OF WALL MOUNTED SIGN
FOR HAIR MAGIC AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W189 S7745 RACINE AVENUE / TAX KEY NO. 2192.970
WHEREAS, Plans for one (1) wall mounted sign was submitted by Sign Effectz, Inc. for Hair
Magic in the Muskego Centre located at W189 S7745 Racine Avenue on June 6, 2003, and
WHEREAS, The sign would be an internally illuminated, wall mounted sign, and the sign would
have a 35 square foot display area, and
WHEREAS, Uniform Signage Specifications plan have been previously approved by the Plan
Commission for the Muskego Centre, and
WHEREAS, The sign lettering is to be constructed with a white plexiglas face which conforms to
the Signage Specifications, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be illuminated with a red LED-type lighting, and the Signage
Specifications for the Muskego Centre require 13-mm red neon tubing, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be constructed with 30-inch high letters, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be constructed with 0.050 aluminum returns as required.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve one (1) wall mounted sign
submitted for Hair Magic in the Muskego Centre property located at W189 S7745 Racine Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, In the event that the Plan Commission is dissatisfied with the post
construction of appearance of LED illumination in color, contrast and intensity to other signs in the
Muskego Centre, Tthat 13-mm red neon tubing shall be used for an illumination source.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans shall be kept on file in the Building Department
and that all aspect of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by
the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or
both.
