PCR2003063RESOLUTION #P.C. 063-2003 APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR DAVIES WATER EQUIPMENT CO. LOCATED IN THE NE ¼ OF SECTION 2 (W145 S6514 TESS CORNERS DRIVE / TAX KEY NO. 2165.998.001) WHEREAS, On May 6, 2003 plans were submitted by Davies Water Equipment Inc. to amend the existing building, site and operation plan of the property located at W145 S6514 Tess Corners Drive, and WHEREAS, The existing property contains an industrial building and associated outdoor storage, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned I-1 Industrial Park District and the existing use is in conformance to all the requirements of said zoning district, and WHEREAS, The proposed amendment is to extend a fenced outdoor storage area by 15,300 square feet, with gravel paving and a 7 foot high chain link fence topped with barbed wire, in conformance with said zoning district, and WHEREAS, Said storage area is proposed to be graded, with filter fabric and 4” – 6” stone base course installed, and the City Engineer recommends a minimum of 12” of base course. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended Building, Site and Operation Plan for Davies Water Equipment Co. at the property located at W145 S6514 Tess Corners Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the base course of the storage area be constructed with no less than 12” of stone material. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas building facades and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
