APPROVAL OF A ONE LOT CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP FOR THE SONNENTAG PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE NE ¼ AND SE ¼ OF SECTION 34
(TAX KEY NOS. 2296.999 AND 2296.998.002/ UNION CHURCH ROAD)
WHEREAS, On May 2, 2003 a Certified Survey Map was submitted by George Sonnentag for a
one lot Certified Survey Map of the Sonnentag property located in the NE ¼ and SE ¼ of
Section 34, and
WHEREAS, Said survey was revised and resubmitted on June 19, 2003, and
WHEREAS, The proposed survey would create a parcel with a minimum area of approximately
47 acres, and
WHEREAS, Said property is zoned EA – Exclusive Agriculture District, and parcel appears to
meet said minimum zoning requirements, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts this area as being set aside for agriculture
and open space uses, and this proposal is within this goal, and
WHEREAS, The property will access Union Church Road by an un-named right-of-way
reservation, and said configuration meets City standards for accessing three or fewer home
sites, and
WHEREAS, Said parcels will be serviced by private sewer and water facilities.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a Certified Survey
Map being as submitted June 19, 2003 by George Sonnentag for property located in the NE ¼
and SE ¼ of Section 34, subject to resolution of technical discrepancies as identified by the
City Planning Department and City Engineers, and payment of all applicable fees in Section
18.14(3) of the Land Division Ordinance and outstanding assessments if applicable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a digital file of this CSM shall be submitted to the City in
accordance with Common Council Ordinance No. 1118 and Resolution 196-2002.
