APPROVAL OF WALL MOUNTED SIGN FOR PAPA MURPHY’S
AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT S74 W17025 JANESVILLE ROAD
WHEREAS, Plans for one (1) wall mounted sign was submitted by Bauer Sign for the Papa Murphy’s in
the Pick-n-Save development property located at S74 W17025 Janesville Road on February 21, 2003,
and
WHEREAS, The sign would be an internally illuminated, wall mounted sign, and the sign would not
exceed 17.5 square feet of display area as determined by code, and
WHEREAS, The sign lettering is to be constructed with a white acrylic face and to be illuminated with 15-
mm white neon tube, and
WHEREAS, Section 17:6.09(6) of the Municipal Code limits the size of wall signs to 5-percent of the wall
area, and the wall area of the Papa Murphy’s tenant space equals 350 square feet, resulting in a
maximum wall sign size of 17.5 square feet.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve one (1) wall mounted sign for Papa
Murphy’s totaling 17.5 square feet in area located at S74 W17025 Janesville Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans shall be kept on file in the Building Department and
that all aspect of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan
Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall
result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
