RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO ACQUIRE LANDS LOCATED IN
THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 16 FOR PARKS AND CONSERVATION PURPOSES
(BOXHORN DRIVE / TAX KEY NOs 2249.998.001 AND 2249.998.002)
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego 2003-2007 Park and Open Space Plan has
recommended that lands be acquired in the SE ¼ of Section 16 of the City of
Muskego, and
WHEREAS, The subject property, being approximately 4.53 acres in size and
located on Boxhorn Drive, includes lakeshore shoreland wetlands and uplands, and
WHEREAS, The property is currently used for commercial and open space
purposes.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the
acquisition of Tax Key Nos. 2249.998.001 and 2249.998.002 to the Common
Council.
