APPROVAL OF STREET TREE PLAN AND LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE NATURE ESTATES SUBDIVISION
LOCATED IN THE SE ¼ OF SECTION 16
(FORMERLY TAX KEY NO. 2224.994 / WOODS ROAD).
WHEREAS, On February 5, 2003 a Street Tree Plan and Landscape Plan was submitted by Reno Berg for the
Nature Estates Subdivision located in the SE ¼ of Section 16, and
WHEREAS, Said plans require the planting of fifty (50) deciduous species for street trees of 1.5” – 2” caliper, and
said species are recommended by the Urban Forestry Strategic Plan as Adopted July 11, 2000, and
WHEREAS, Said plan requires the planting of fifty-one (51) coniferous trees along the south, east, and west
perimeters of the plat, not in conflict with easements, and
WHEREAS, The diversity of street trees is within the specifications outlined in the Urban Forestry Development
Information brochure as recommended by the Urban Forestry Strategic Plan, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the Street Tree Plan and Landscape
Plan for the Nature Estates Subdivision located in the SE ¼ of Section 16.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That where existing tree cover makes certain tree planting sites unnecessary,
such trees shall be planted along the south, east, and west perimeters of the plat, not in conflict with easements.
