APPROVAL OF THE 2003-2007 PARK AND OPEN SPACE PLAN AND
RECOMMENDATION TO THE COMMON COUNCIL TO AMEND CHAPTER 41,
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING, TO ADOPT THE SAME
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego maintains a Park and Open Space Plan in
order to guide the development of the community's park system, and
WHEREAS, The adopted Park and Open Space Plan was approved in 2000, and
had a planning window of five years, being 2001 through 2005, and
WHEREAS, The Park and Recreation Department and Planning Department,
have prepared an updated Park and Open Space Plan for the years 2003-2007,
and
WHEREAS, A public hearing to consider the recommendations of the 2003-2007
Park and Open Space Plan has been scheduled before the Common Council on
February 11, 2003.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
approve the 2003-2007 Park and Open Space Plan as recommended by the
Park Board on January 13, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommend the
adoption of the 2003-2007 Park and Open Space Plan to the Common Council.
