RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO APPROVE REVISIONS TO
THE gTH AMENDMENT TO THE WATER CAPACITY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
(JANESVILLE ROAD CORRIDOR AND WOODLAND PLACE
IN SECTIONS 1 AND 2)
WHEREAS, The Utility Department proposes to provide municipal water service
to the Janesville Road corridor and portions of Woodland Place in Sections 1
and 2, and
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee has endorsed the proposal, and the
public interest would be served by enhancing fire protection services, and
WHEREAS, Waukesha County proposes to reconstruct Janesville Road in this
area in 2003 and 2004, and the installation of water main prior to road
reconstruction is sensible Capital Improvement Planning, and
WHEREAS, The extension of setvices to the properties was reviewed as a part
of the 2001 Water System Study performed by Ruekerl & Mielke, Inc. and is
consistent with the long range facility planning for the Utility, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
recommend approval to the Common Council for the extension of municipal
water service to the Janesville Road corridor and portions of Woodland Place in
Section 1 and Section 2, as depicted in the revised dh Amendment to the Water
Capacity Assessment District.
