RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO VACATE RIGHT-OF-WAY
PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED FOR WOODS ROAD EXTENSIONS LOCATED IN
THE SW % OF SECTION 17
WHEREAS, A request to vacate a street right-of-way was initiated by the
Planning Department for property located in the SW 1/4 of Section 2, on October
2,2002, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way is located in the Southwest corner of Section 17
and consists of two 80 foot wide dedication, and
WHEREAS, Said dedication is not necessary to serve future development on
adjoining properties, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way has been removed from the 2010 Street System
Plan, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the
Common Council the vacation of street right-of-way for Woods Road extensions
located in the SW % of Section 17 *
