RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO VACATE RIGHT-OF-WAY
PREVIOUSLY RESERVED FOR THE BELT LINE FREEWAY LOCATED IN THE
SW %OF SECTION 2
WHEREAS, A request to vacate a street right-of-way was initiated by the
Planning Department for property located in the SW 114 of Section 2, on
September 20,2002, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way is located at the southwest corner of the Durham
Meadows plat and consists of a triangle of land being approximately 14,034
square feet in area, and
WHEREAS, Said reservation is not necessary to serve future development on
adjoining properties, and
WHEREAS, Said right-of-way has been removed from the 2010 Street System
Plan, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the
Common Council the vacation of street right-of-way located at the southwest
corner of the Durham Meadows plat in the SW % of Section 2. a
