APPROVAL OF A TEMPORARY SUBDIVISION SIGN FOR PRAIRIE MEADOW ESTATES AT
THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SE % OF SECTION 24 /TAX KEY NO. 2256.986
WHEREAS, Plans for the temporary subdivision sign was submitted by LuAnn Lang for Prairie
Meadow Estates located in the SE % of Section 24 on September 6, 2002, and
WHEREAS, The subdivision sign would be one-sided and 32 square feet and would be non-
illuminated, with a brown background and light colored lettering along the North Cape Road right-
of-way, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-3. Suburban Residence District and said signage
conforms with the requirements of Section 6.13 of the Zoning Ordinance and requires Plan
Commission approval prior to the issuance of a building and zoning permit, and
WHEREAS, Per Section 6.13(a)(3) the sign is to be located on the premises and such sign may
be permitted until such time as ninety-percent (90%) of development has occurred.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve of a temporary subdivision
sign with one-side and 32 square feet and would be non-illuminated along the North Cape Road
right-of-way for Prairie Meadow Estates at the property located in the SE % of Section 24.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a copy of said
plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this shall be maintained in
perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or
both.
