APPROVAL OF MONUMENT SIGN PLAN FOR THE MUSKEG0 ANIMAL HOSPITAL AT S80
W19055 JANESVILLE ROAD / TAX KEY NO. 2225.983
WHEREAS, On August 8.2002 plans to replace the monument sign located at the Muskego
Animal Hospital at S80 W19055 Janesville Road was submitted by Lee Elger, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2/00S, Suburban Residence District as modified by the
Office and Special Service Overlay, and building and site signs are permitted subject to Section
17:6.09 of the Zoning Code, and
WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing a monument sign measuring 5.5-feet in height and 8-feet
in width, and the readable area will measure approximately 32 square feet, and the sign is
illustrated to be 52-feet from the Janesville Road right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, A landscape plan has Ret been submitted, and I
WHEREAS, The monument sign will be internally illuminated, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a monument sign for
the Muskego Animal Hospital located at S80 W19055 Janesville Road.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the monument sign shall be located a minimum of 60-feet
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Bass& planter surrounding the monument sign shall I
be constructed with materials compatible with the primary structure.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a revised landscape plan shall be submitted to the Planning I
Department for review prior to the release of permits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a directional sign, not to
exceed six (6) square feet, to be located 15-feet from the edge of the Janesville Road pavement,
subject to written approval from the Waukesha County Department of Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a copy of said
plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan shall be
maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or
both.
