APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION
PIAN FOR THE ST LEONARD CONGREGATION LOCATED IN THE SE ‘h OF
SECTION 9 (W173 S7743 WESTWOOD DRIVE /TAX KEY NO. 2196.945)
WHEREAS, Building Site and Operation Plans for church and school expansions
were approved by the Plan Commission by Resolution #PC 189b-2002 on
February 5,2002, and
WHEREAS, On July 19, 2002, amendments to the approved Building Site and
Operation Plans pertaining to parking, landscaping, and stormwater management
were submitted by Birschbach & Associates to amend the Plan, and
WHEREAS, Said amendments are depicted on Sheets C-2 and C-4 of the Plans
dated July 19, 2002 and consist of:
o Reducing the southern parking field to retain the existing play ground
o Reducing the length of screening fences in order to match the revised
o Reducing the size of the southern detention pond
Installing a northern detention pond
o Retaining additional green space in the vicinity of the existing
o Reconfiguring landscape plantings
parking field length
outbuildings, previously planned as detention pond
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an
amended Building, Site and Operation Plan for parking, landscaping, and
stormwater management.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this amendment pertains to parking,
landscaping, and stormwater management as depicted on Sheets C-2 and C-4 of
the Plans dated July 19. 2002, and all other provisions and conditions of the
Building Site and Operation Plan approved by Resolution #PC 189b-2002 shall
remain in full force and effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the
Building Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape
areas building facades and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless
otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained
in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the
initiation of legal action, or both.
