RESOLUTION #P.C. 087-2002
APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FORTHE SCHREIBER PROPERTY
LOCATED AT S86 W17937 WOODS ROAD (TAX KEY NO. 2224.993)
WHEREAS, On June 6, 2002 a site plan and construction information was submitted by Donald
Schreiber to construct a 1,296 square foot accessory structure at the property located at S86
W17937 Woods Road, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-1, Suburban Estate District, and where said structure is a
permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05 (2) C.l, and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 1;520 feet of total
square footage of accessory buildings, and said proposal meets the bulk requirements of the
Zoning Code, and
WHEREAS, Outbuildings currently exist on the parcel and all existing outbuildings are proposed
to be removed, and
WHEREAS, The structure is proposed to be constructed with white steel siding, grey steel roof
with one foot eaves, and grey trim, and said proposal does not meet the Plan Commission's
standards for residential accessory structures.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a 1,296 square foot
accessory structure for the Schreiber property at S86 W17937 Woods Road in accordance to
Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.1 1 (2).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the roof shall be constructed with asphalt shingles which
match the color of the residence's roof, p.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the
approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation
of legal action, or both.
