RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO CORRECT ERRORS IN
THE CITY'S OFFICIAL ZONING MAPS, SPECIFICALLY THE LAIMON
PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS THE SOUTHERLY 295 FEET OF THE PARCEL
INTENDED BY ACTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL BY ORDINANCE NO.
897, AND THE NORTHERLY 935 FEET OF THE PARCEL IDENTIFIED BY
AS INTENDED BY ACTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL BY
ORDINANCE NO. 1064, LOCATED IN THE SE % OF SECTION 24
(NORTH CAPE ROAD I TAX KEY NO 2257.999).
IDENTIFIED BY TAX KEY NO. 2257.999 TO B-4 HIGHWAY BUSINESS, AS
TAX KEY NO. 2257.999 TO RS-3 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT,
WHEREAS, Common Council Ordinance 897 granted 6-4 Highway Business
District zoning to the southern 295 feet of the parcel identified as Tax Key No.
2257.999. and
WHEREAS, Common Council Ordinance 1064 granted RS-3 Suburban
Residence District zoning to the balance of the parcel identified as Tax Key No.
2257.999, and
WHEREAS. On April 4, 2002 the Planning Department was advised of errors in
the Official Zoning Map of the SW % of Section 24, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing to correct the errors in the Official Zoning Map of
the SW % of Section 24 has been scheduled before the Common Council on
May 14,2002, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
recommend approval of corrections to the Official Zoning Map of the SW % of
Section 24 to reflect the actions taken by Common Council pursuant to
Ordinance 897 and Ordinance 1064.
