PCR2002055AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C.O55-2002 APPROVAL OF BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE OLD MUSKEG0 SETTLEMENT CENTRE AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NE % OF SECTION 16 (RACINE AVENUE / TAX KEY NO. 2221.998) WHEREAS, On April 4, 2002, plans were submitted by the Muskego Historical Society for a development plan at the property located in the NE X of Section 16 (Tax Key No. 2221.998). and Building, Site and Operation Plan amendment for the Old Muskego Settlement Centre , WHEREAS, Additional details regarding railings, entrance door, and roof lines were submitted on May 7,2002. WHEREAS, Building Site and Operation Plans were previously approved on February 22, 2002 by Resolution #PC 160-2001, and WHEREAS, Said property is currently zoned RS-ZIOIP-Suburban Residence District with Commission approval of a Building, Site and Operation Plan, and Institution and Public Service Overlay, and said use is a permitted use by right subject to Plan WHEREAS, The site landscape plan submitted illustrates a parking area, town square, and future building sites within the Old Muskego Settlement Centre, and WHEREAS, A landscape plan is required and has been submitted for the site, and said,plan illustrates the installation of landscaping in the parking area, and WHEREAS, The extent of prairie plantings are delineated on the plan, and prairie vegetation is proposed to be established between split rail fence and Racine Ave. and WHEREAS, The landscape plan depicts a local source for prairie seed to ensure local gene pools of these plants is not compromised, and WHEREAS, No plantings are proposed to be installed within the natural woodland area, and WHEREAS, The Plan Commission previously approved the following recommendation from the Public Works Committee: Allow a gravel parking lot to be located with a 10-foot setback from Racine Avenue. Parking area to accommodate 147 spaces. 30-feet landscape area along Racine Avenue is not required. 0 I THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the Building, Site and Operation Plan amendment as submitted by the Muskego Historical Society for the Old Muskego Settlement Centre at the property located in the NE X of Section 16. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all coniferous trees shall have a minimum planting size of 6- feet in height as measure from grade. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the East elevation shall incorporate the gaUed-Gambrel ro0flineL.h accordance with specifications received May 7, 2002. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the entrances to the Old Town Hall shall include raised-panel doors-.in accordance with specifications received May 7. 2002. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That metal railings at the entrance to the Old Town Hall shall be permitted in accordance with specifications received May 7, 2002. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
