PCR20020150 RESOLUTION #P.C. 015-2002 RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO AMEND THE 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE SE % SECTION 23 (GROVEWAY LANE, RYAN RD TO BOXHORN DR) WHEREAS, The adopted 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts properties in the block bounded by Groveway Lane, Ryan Road and Boxhorn Drive, to be used for low density residential development, and WHEREAS, The area is zoned RS-2 Suburban Residence District, which permits development at medium density residential densities, and WHEREAS, The area is subject to sanitary sewer installation, and the City of Muskego has a standing policy to rezoning properties to sewered districts when such service becomes available, and the Plan Commission believes that land use policies should conform to zoning policies, and WHEREAS, The Planning Department has initiated an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the amendment has been scheduled before the Common Council on February 12,2002. a THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicting properties in the block bounded by Groveway Lane, Ryan Road and Boxhorn Drive, to be used for medium density residential development. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon adoption of said amendment, copies shall be forwarded to the Waukesha County Land Use and Parks Department for inclusion in the Waukesha County Development Plan.
