NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL
AN ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 39 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, TRADITIONAL
CODE TO PERMIT TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENTS IN THE OPD
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Under direction of Wisconsin Statutes 66.23 and 66.1027 the Planning Department
has prepared Chapter 39 of the Municipal Code, and revisions to Chapter 17 of the Municipal
Code as deemed necessary to implement Traditional Neighborhood Development, and
WHEREAS, Said document sets standards for developments that are to be submitted to the City
for more complete and accurate Planning Department and Plan Commission review, and
WHEREAS, Said Code changes are prepared under the authority of Section 62.23 and 66.1027
of Wisconsin State Statutes being deemed necessary to promote the public health, safety, and
welfare of the City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing has been scheduled for November 27,2001
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission hereby recommends the Code
changes as attached hereto, be used as a reference source for guiding and reviewing future
development for citizens, development professionals, and Plan Commission members of the City
of Muskego.
