PCR2001160AAMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C.160a-2001 APPROVAL OF BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR THE OLD MUSKEG0 SETTLEMENT CENTRE AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NE X OF SECTION 16 (RACINE AVENUE I TAX KEY NO. 2221.998) WHEREAS, On September 19. 2001. plans were submitted by the City of Muskego Park and Recreation Department for a Building, Site and Operation Plan for the Old Muskego Settlement Centre development plan and the relocation of the Old Town Hall at the property located in the NE %of Section 16 (Tax Key No. 2221.998), and WHEREAS, Revised plans were submitted to the City on February 22, 2002, and WHEREAS, Said properly is currently zoned RS-2IOIP”Suburban Residence District with Commission approval of a Building. Site and Operation Plan, and Institution and Public Service Overlay, and said use is a permitted use by right subject to Plan WHEREAS, The site plan submitted illustrates a parking area, deMb&a& future building sites within the Settlement Centre, and , town square, and I WHEREAS, A landscape plan is required and has &been submitted a”&for the site, and said plan illustrates the installation of landscaping in the parking area, and l WHEREAS, A gravel Pparking area is illustrated for approximately 147 vehicles- -, and a I WHEREAS, 5 On January 28. 2002 meeting the Public Works Committee granted an exception for the site from the requirements of Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code regulating stormwater management, and WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee approved all grading and drainage plans, subject to minor revisions to be approved by the City Engineer WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee recommended the following to the Plan Commission: .. 1 Allow a gravel parking lot (or similar material) to be located with a 10-foot setback from 2. Parking area to accommodate 147 spaces. 3. Do not require the 30-feet landscape area along Racine Avenue. Racine Avenue. WHEREAS, The site plan illustrates two (2) access drives to Racine Avenue, and the south drive &etWshall be used only for maintenance vehicle access, and all public traffic should be directed I to the north access point, and WHEREAS, The Old Town Hall is proposed to be moved from its current location on Pioneer Drive, and its proposed location meets the setback requirements for the district, and WHEREAS, A 24' x 32' building addition is proposed to house dry storage, bathrooms, and mechanicals. and WHEREAS, The following building materials have been indicated to match the existing structure: 5 exposed cedar wood bevel siding, with matching wood molding painted white Half-round galvanized gutters New windows to match existing Rock-faced architectural block, and WHEREAS, The fenestration, and .. revised elevations illustrate additional WHEREAS, The wrevised entrance illustrated on the north elevation of the addition iw+sbap seRtMfkvitkcomplernents the historic entrance. I THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the Building, Site and Operation Plan as submitted by the City of Muskego Park and Recreation Department for the Old property located in the NE X of Section 16.
