APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR
W152 S8011 MYSTIC DRIVE (TAX KEY NO. 2214.994.001)
THE PETERSON PROPERTY LOCATED AT
WHEREAS, On August 16. 2001 a site plan and construction information was submitted by Paul
Peterson to construct a 960 square foot accessory structure at the property located at W152
S8011 Mystic Drive, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2. Suburban Residence District, and where said structure
is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05 (2) C.l,
and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 60% of the livable first
floor area and said area contains 1,495 square feet which would allow 897 square feet of total
square footage of accessory buildings, and
WHEREAS, One outbuilding currently exists on the parcel totaling 176 square feet, and
WHEREAS, The location of the structure meets the required setback and offsets, the ultimate
height is limited to 15 feet, the architectural appearance would be compatible with the applicant's
surrounding area, and the materials submitted do not propose the use of this nor any other
structure on the property for business related activities, and
e WHEREAS, The structure will be constructed with vinyl siding and shingled roof, and the
materials and colors will be sandstone and brown to match the existing residence.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a structure not
to Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.1 1 (2).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the
approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation
of legal action, or both.
