RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE TO INCLUDE OIP
INSTUTITIONAL AND PUBLIC SERVICE OVERLAY DISTRICT, AND AMEND
THE 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LOCATED IN SECTION 9
(TAX KEY NO. 2196.988 AND TAX KEY NO. 2195.953)
WHEREAS, On August 10,2001 a petition for rezoning was submitted by the
Planning Department to rezone the City of Muskego property to include OIP
Institutional and Public Service District, and
WHEREAS, The property identified by Tax Key No. 21 96.988 is presently zoned
6-3 General Business District, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts the property identified by
Tax Key No. 2196.988 as being used for medium density residential purposes,
and the proposal requires an amendment to the Plan, and
WHEREAS, The property identified by Tax Key No. 2195.95 is presently zoned
6-1 Neighborhood Business District, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts the property identified by
Tax Key No. 2195.953 as being used for medium density residential purposes
and the proposal requires an amendment to the Plan, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the
Common Council on August 28,2001, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of the properties
identified by Tax Key No. 2196.988 and Tax Key No. 2195.953 to include the
OIP Institutional and Public Service District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby approve
an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan to depict the property identified
by Tax Key No. 2196.988 as having Institutional land use and recommends the
same to the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby approve
an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan to depict the property identified
by Tax Key No. 2195.953 as having Public Open Space land use and
recommends the same to the Common Council.
